25/10/24 – Virtual Meetings – Government announce consultation, Have your say

The Government yesterday announced consulatation on enabling vitual meetings and proxy voting for all levels of local government, from Parish to County Councils. Members of the public can have their say on the plans by visiting https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/enabling-remote-attendance-and-proxy-voting-at-local-authority-meetings/enabling-remote-attendance-and-proxy-voting-at-local-authority-meetings the consultation period runs untill 18th December 2024
